Scientific forums IEEE International Black Sea Conference on Communications and Networking (BlackSeaCom) The IEEE BlackSeaCom series of conferences are held in the countries surrounding the Black Sea. The goal of the IEEE BlackSeaCom is to bring together visionaries in academia, research labs and industry from all over the world to the shores of the Black Sea. Here they will address many of the outstanding grand challenges that exist in the areas of communications and networking while having an opportunity to explore this exciting and dynamic region that has a rich history. http://www.ieee-blackseacom.org International Scientific Conference on Information, Communication and Energy Systems and Technologies (ICEST) The ICEST Conference appears to succeed a series of conferences started from 1963 at the Technical University of Sofia under the name "Day of the Radio". In 1977 the name of the Conference was changed into "Communication, electronic and computer systems". Since 2000 it has become an international conference under the name EIST (Energy and Information Systems and Technologies). The first two EIST Conferences were organized by the Faculty of Communications and Communication Technologies, Sofia and the Faculty of Technical Sciences, Bitola. In 2002 the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, Nis joined successfully the Conference organizers. Again, the Conference changed its name becoming ICEST (International Scientific Conference on Information Communication and Energy Systems and Technologies). http://www.icestconf.org International Conference on Communications, Electromagnetics and Medical Applications (CEMA) The regular engineering conference CEMA is organized by Faculty of Telecommunication of Technical University – Sofia and School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of National Technical University of Athens, Greece. This is an International engineering forum for scientists, researches and experts on design and application of engineering devices and systems in medicine. The conference is a place for discussions and dissemination of new engineering innovative solutions and research results in communication technologies and their application in medicine. http://rcvt.tu-sofia.bg/CEMA/ National Conference "TELECOM" TELECOM is an annual national scientific-technical conference with foreign participation covering a wide range of issues in the area of state-of-the-art communication systems and networks – from the latest innovations and technical achievements to their successful practical implementation. The aim of the Conference is to create conditions, opportunities, and help the experts and specialists in different telecommunication fields to exchange ideas, knowledge and technical expertise. The discussions will contribute to the creation of new ideas and trends in the development of Bulgarian telecommunications. http://ceec.fnts.bg/telecom Scientific & technical journal "Compute & Communications Engineering" ISSN: 1314-2291 http://cs-mag.com Scientific areas :: Department Radio Communications and Video Technology Radio communication devices and systems Subject of research work can be summarized as follows: CAD of radio communication devices and systems: Modelling and design of microwave radio communication devices; Radio communication spread spectrum systems: Systems with direct spread spectrum (DSSS), frequency hopping (FH), with parallel multi-carrier code division MC-CDMA - OFDMA, hybrid systems with spread spectrum, ultra wide band radio (UWBR); Signal and information processing in transceiver: spread spectrum, modulation, demodulation, parallel multi-user detection (MUD), codes for spread spectrum synchronization, diversity reception and transmission, processing for a MIMO channels, Application of chaotic sequences and signals for CDMA, Software defined radio (SDR); Radio communication systems and networks for terrestrial and satellite mobile communications; Broadband cable communications systems; Measurement of electrical and non-electrical parameters: Information measuring systems design; Communication systems for control and management of remote sites - M2M; Transfer of digital data through GSM, UMTS, LTE Bluetooth, etc.; Self-organizing radio networks - ZigBee; Internet based systems for remote monitoring and measurement; Application of microcontrollers in communications; Electromagnetic compatibility.
